Some days, it's good to take off work and go fishing..

Called my Boss monday night to see what the work situation was.. He says "I got a whole lot of nothing, ya wanna go fishing in the morning?".. Sure! <br /><br />Conditions were not too great.. At least 4-6 foot choppy seas, gray overcast sky, and a good bit of wind.. Figured we'd come back skunked for sure.. <br /><br />The cloudy conditions made the sunrise absolutely spectacular! That alone would have been worth the trip..<br /><br />We decided to drag some ballyhoo and a couple lures... Got underway and not five minutes into the troll, and we only have the first three lines of the spread set out when one went off, then, not a minute later the other went off... Bingo! First thing in the morning and we got a double header.. Yippeee! <br /><br />Ended up putting 6 fair size dolphin in the boat up to about 10-11 pounds, along with 3 bonitta (trash fish).. Conditions were not getting any better and we were getting pretty beat up so we called it quits early... Not too bad for 2 hours work, huh..... <br />

<br />If anyone catches my favorite baseball cap that I lost, please let me know.. Black w/ cincinatti reds logo..

Glad ya had a nice trip ! ! <br />Sure is great to take a little time off from work to go fishing.<br />With my flexible schedule I take a little time from work every now and then to do a little fishing.
