hello and thank you very much for any help you can offer me.
i cant get boat to idle after cleaning and installing new gaskets carb. when it is stumbing at 1000 rpms, i can put an extremely small amount of mist through the mesh air filter and it idles perfectly. therefore, i believe it's getting too much air and not enough fuel at idle.
same results if i press the accelerator pump a little over and over at 1000 rpms and i can at least keep it running just as a test.
does the air mixture screw only control air and not how much fuel goes through the idle circuit?
if I close up the air mixture screw, will that give it more fuel?
thank you very very much for the help and suggestions. i have read dozens of other similar posts and did not find a resolution.
