several weeks ago i decided, i did not use the boat enough, to warrant owning it.

so this guy, answers Craigslist ad. buys it. he was obvious novice. took him out several times, explained over and over Reverse is not the brakes, do not approach something faster than you want to hit it.

WELL

i get a call from Progressive insurance, could they send me some pictures, to be sure he was not claiming on old damage.

this made me sick, i had just last year completely rebuilt the boat.

My first reaction would be "Looking at the photos, that's looks pretty much like it was when I sold 'er." But then, the little angel on my shoulder would straighten me out and dig out my after reno photos.

Sad to see someone not taking the pride in your efforts and wanting to keep his stuff in good condition.

I've never even been on a toon but they don't look all that durable. Lot of weight, lot of momentum and the thing most likely to take a hit is a thin sheet of aluminum.

i found out he hit the floating dock, and did not stop. those tubes were very substantial. 22 inch tubes.

this say's SAFE BOATING CLASS 'BEFORE' registration of a boat is allowed.

yes, they are going to total the hull, less value of motor and trailer. Hull is $1,800 nada, he wants the to settle for $4,000.
