Take into account that the speed limits there are 31 mph in City, 62 mph on secondary roads and on the Autobahn the want you to slow to a safe speed of 80 mph near exits and entrances to the highway.

There are already laws against this, it is called reckless driving.<br /><br />Let all the people who eat, talk on the phone, smoke, etc do it as long as they arent reckless.<br /><br />All we need is for law enforcement to use the laws they currently have.<br /><br />New laws just hurt the ones that can "multitask"<br /><br />Ken

Multitask, is that like driving while breathing? <br /><br />I agree with you Ken. But the other day I was talking to the wife via handsfree, then traffic got pretty hairy for about 30 secs. Trust me, what is usually no problem was quite a problem. That's why I hate to try and do more than drive while driving. You just never know.<br /><br />But the police do need to use more of the laws they already are charged with upholding. We just need the bleeding heart courts to stop letting the bad guy go on a technicality. The judges have to stop legislating from the bench.

Doing anything while driving can be distracting. But ho many of us still drive at 10 and 2 with both hands on the wheel at all times. Not very many. This is just another government sponsored attack against smokers rights. Otherwise they would also be banning: Eating, drinking, talking to others, sight seeing, radio-changing...etc. Let them at least be honest about their goal.<br />anyway, just one mans opinion.<br />Later
