From school break in S. CA. and a soon to be grad in May!!! She is so fun, what a blessing! Son 15 here as well all the time, playing games, cooking, movies, and just hanging out, she likes driving the Yukon too ;)

Yep, had my daughter home from Lubbock, over the Christmas break. Tis a blessing for sure. The only problem is that we had to share her with her inlaws.

Enjoy your time together. Our son who is a chef in Wales is coming home for a month next Sunday. Party in the home pub for sure !!!!

and she left today after 7 great days,( I still get misty when she leaves and she's 24) saw my son's mom(my 2nd ex) and his step bros, like a mile away, had her girlfriend over last pm(they were up here scouting wedding sites for her summer wedding) and I cooked mahi mahi(never baked it before), strawberry yogurt, bananna/cornbread, and twice baked with cheeses sweet potatoes, and girlfriend came to lunch today before her shift, what a wonderful week!! :) Here's some pics :)Central Contra Costa-20140110-00182.jpgCentral Contra Costa-20140110-00184.jpg

Oh my fav pic of Kels and Karl :) , secret agents? Dynamic duo??? heeheehee...... :)

Oh and for dinner last pm, baked mahi mahi w/ killer lemon(I get winter Myer lemons off my tree) /beer marinade, corn/bananna bread made w/ Greek strawberry yogurt and twice baked sweet taters, never did mahi mahi, not a huge fish eater but boy that was good!!!

Welsh cooking must have come a long ways since my Grandparent's on my mother's side left years ago to come to the US. Their idea of an extra fancy dinner was to have mint vinegar for the lamb.

so he's home in 2 days? my dinners not fancy per se, I try something new (the mahi mahi and sweet taters - have done regular taters) that I havent done yet and test it out in small portions to kids, family and friends :) apparently they all loved it ;) so easy too
