Hey I have a 1985 force 125 outboard. And i mix the fuel in the tank or in gas cans. The mixture i use is 50:1. I thought it was pretty much the standard for outboards. Why do you suppose it is smoking so much. I mean you cant sit still in the water without it fogging the area. Now on to the vibrating part. While throttling up to get on plane it vibrates pretty bad all the way up until it planes out. The prop has a few dings and nicks in it but not that many, But hey whos doesnt. <br /><br />P.S. if this helps the motor is hooked to a 1984 17' procraft bass boat model 1650v
