Smoked king salmon

Well my Mom and Dad put up about 70 kings done into slabs and strips. The will be done in a 1.5 week with the smoking. Could not help this year do to spine and arm problems. Can't wait to try some when the are done.

...70?...are you guys a small commercial fishing unit?
We could never get licensed for catching that many down here around Vancouver Island with a recreation fishing permit.
Regardless, you should send out samples to all Iboaters...starting with me so that way we know you aren't pulling our leg.

I bet the stuff you get in alaska is no where near as good as the farm raised stuff imported to Minnesota

Big difference in taste verses farm. We are luck to be able to subsistence fish. Some familys put up over 200. Silver are already running up the river. You would have to fight my 5 yr,2yr old daughters for the smoked fish. They love it. Wish i could send some down but the fun is the catching the fish, do not want to take the fun away from anyone.
