smoke in engine cavity

2001yamaha gp800r had some work done and when returned and went for wet test engine cavity filled with thick smoke and bogged engine what has happened

Take it back to where you had the work done and let them figure it out .

most likely a blown exhaust coupler - or...someone forgot to put a clamp back on.

exhaust leak of some sort. it was bogging becuase like us, when a motor breaths in smoke instead of clean air, it coughs.
