After writing a reply to a thread and click on a Smile I am immediately transferred back to the Forum Home Page. My reply is lost. This has happened to me twice. As a test I just now clicked on Reply to a thread, then clicked on a Smile and it happened again.

Wrench - What are you using - PC, iPad, Phone, etc.? And was it working before? Some mobile devices work better than others. :noidea:

Something try - If you put the cursor over the smilie you want to use, the name of the smilie is displayed along with the code. If you put the cursor over :D, the name Big Grin and the code : D (no space between : and D) is shown. If you type the : and D instead of clicking the smilie, the :D will show on Preview or after posting.

From my android phone, clicking the smiley no longer works. But using the BB code does

I'm using an HP desktop win 7 and IE. I'll "copy" this info and try a smily face again. Hang on . . . :). Hey, hey, hey, it worked.

Now I'll try just a plain reply without a quote . . . Didn't work. Now I'll type in the code . . . :) That worked.

If my Grandma was still alive, I'm pretty sure she'd say, "No good can come from clicking smilies."

Have not heard of this issue on a desktop browser. I will do some more investigating in the office tomorrow.

Glad you guys were able to find a temporary fix.

Thanks, let me know. I just tried a smile for you and lost my reply. I'll type it again with the code :)

Testing smilies. :eek::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy:

they're not clearing my post. However, there are some weird issues with the header.

Same version I am using to make this post. I am also on a Windows 7 computer. :faint2:

Do you have any addons to your browser? Are you blocking javascript?
