Hello Iboaters

My question today is why does the forum misdirect links on my G1 ?

Basically when I click a link on Iboats using Opera mini on my G1 sometimes it jumps to another link ( user info..a totally different link etc ).

Anyone know why this is happening ?

Maybe you have FAT FINGERS!!!! JK LOL I really do not know however, I do know that iboats is looking into making the forum more smart phone friendly (but it is complicated due to multiple server's). Hopefully a solution is in our future

I would assume just like my iPhone, you can save any URL as a favorite to your screen? That prevents you from any typing mistakes. My iPhone also uses safari so that is not the issue. Maybe your phone firmware needs an upgrade?

Bob..LOL.. " fat fingers " reminded me of a Simpson episode where Homer was trying to dial..and the recording said " your fingers are too fat..please mash the dial pad " something to that affect .

2452.. No No..I have NO trouble getting to the Iboats forum as it is saved as a favorite on my Opera home screen..

Its just that when Im viewing the forum and want to persay look and a particular thread and screen thumb the link ( which is highlighted perfectly when touched ) sometimes brings me to a totally different page..
