Smartcraft oil temp reading

Hello , as you have probably have read at my other post i have repower my boat with a new 350 MAG MPI. If the weather in Greece will be ok the next week i will put the boat in the sea for testing. Everything till now seems to work properly and also the smartcraft gauge. The only problem that i think i have is that when i press the mode button at the RPM gauge (SC1000) so to read the oil temp, it sais that the oil has 0 deg C temperature . Every other detail or information like oil pressure, water pressure, water temp ,rev counter, fuel management and every other screen seems to work properly.....except the oil temp reading screen. Do you know why this happens?

Ayuh,... My WAGuess would be that the oil Temp Sender is not connected, or is Bad...

And where is that oil temp sender to check it?...The engine is Brand NEW!! And also all the wiring and all the gauges (Smartcraft SC1000 + system link ,Engine Harness, Smartcraft harness, etc)

No Oil temperature sensor on these engines... The Smartcraft instrument covers a lot of engines, some of which include oil temp, like Verados and other 4 strokes....

Is there the option to disable the oil temp screen since there is no oil temp sensor at this engine?

As I recall, you can set the display up to show the features you want or don't want. Your owners/user manual should detail the procedures.
