Hi all!
I Connected a Smartcraft (ver 3.x) Tacho to get some nice extra reading in the LCD, such as voltage, engine hours et c. Works fine, but the engine hours are sometimes ticking away. Over three days not using the boat it was 5 hours up on the meter. Is that not strange? I gues the Smartcraft just reads the value from the engine ECU (or what it is called). The old tacho was removed, the cabling is still there but every cable is insulated. Likewise the smartcraft only has one thick cable between engine and instrument.
The summer in Sweden is short so if someone has any ideas how to fix it it is greatly appreciated!'
Engine is a Mercury 50 EFI from 2006.
