Smart Tabs

Hey John,

I just purchased another set of Smart Tabs. I put them on a previous boat and loved them.

My question is: these are going to be mounted on a 1990 Bayliner Capri 2050 with the molded swim platform. Will they mount ok, since the bracket will mount to the underside of the platform? I am still not sure what I will do on the ladder side.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I recommend the ST1290-80 (if it is a V8 - 60 If it is a 6 cyl.) since the mounting options are more. You should be able to put the starboard side tab between the ladder rungs.

It is a V-8.

The ST1290-80 is what I have coming.

Be sure to take that fin off of the A/V plate!!!​

I will be taking that off. Just want the tabs installed first.
