I have a 21 foot Manatee cuddy. She has a fine entry but a narrow stern. Because of this, she is tender and very reactive to changing loads within the boat while underway. 1 person changing seats will cause her to lean to the heavy side markedly-- even at full throttle. It can get annoying.

Question: will the added area of smart tabs at the stern reduce this tendency a good bit.

My assumption is that smart tabs are adjusted once then locked in place.

I do not want to install Hydraulic or elecro-mechanical adjustable trim tabs.

Re: Smart Tabs

Call John at Nauticus and talk to him about this, I want to say they will help, but not knowing your boat I recommend talking to John. I have a set on my boat and am a firm believer in them.

Link to the website, there is a pdf file in there on boat balance and performance, good read.

Ayuh,..... Smart Tabs will Help your Issue, a good bit,......
But I doubt that they'll be able to Totally Stop the Leaning.....

And,..... No,.... Smart Tabs are Not Static......
They're actually a Very Dynamic System.......
Though Not the Same,... The Actuators are somewhat like the Strut that holds up the Hatch of a Hatchback Car......
They Automatically Adjust,... Constantly.......
