Well, I decided to buy a set to add to my boat. It does pretty well all by itself but I wanted a little smoother ride at speed. I run a 19' ProLine center console with a Merc 150 and it will run right around 50 or so. Trimmed up for speed sometimes causes a little porpoising and I have to trim back down again. I believe the tabs will help that.

I have been arguing with myself about adjustables or autos and Kim at Nauticus made the decision for me. I went to their site and lookes it over. Read the articles and the theory and then looked at pricing. The "factory special" icon caught my eye and I checked it out. Factory seconds are available for a 25% savings and free shipping. I called to check on a kit for my boat and they had them. I would up paying 25% off list price and had it shipped to me for free, for a savings of probably $80. That made my cost about 1/3 of what a set of Bennets would have cost me. And, I ordered them on Thursday afternoon and they were at my house the next day! That is fast service. Kim told me to give them a call if I had any installation questions and thanked me for the order. Great service, great product. The plates are HEAVY stainless plates. Heavier than I thought they would be. Oh, and the blemish? One of the plates has a scratch across it. It barely catches a fingernail. Not a big deal.

Great job John and Kim. I can't wait to try out the boat with them on.

UFM82
