Hello,

I have searched and read through a bunch of posts, but didnt find anything with my particular issue. I see the smart tabs say they work up to 240hp, well I definetly go past that. The boat is a 20.2ft IMP with 8.3ft beam. I am trying to get some better economy out of the boat and get to plane at a lower RPM. Basically will the ST1290-80 work? Or am I putting too much power out there for them to be effective?

James

They advised me they would work fine on a 250 hp 23 foot caravelle interceptor. I have not installed them yet but the manufacturer says they will work.

So I would guess they would also work in your situation.

jstcrzyengh;

If the boat runs over 60 MPH use Mobster Tabs #1080-80. Otherwise use Smart Tabs #1290-80.
Or call 800-233-0194!

NautiJohn,

Thanks for replying. I will be picking up a set of the 1290-80's. The boat will never see over 40mph, well, maybe once or twice for fun lol Quick question for you though about the zinc's. Do you sell specific zinc's for them? The boat will be in saltwater 90% of the time. I also noticed on http://www.nauticusinc.com/manual.pdf it showed you were in Huuntington Harbor, have you moved from this location as I am about twenty minutes away from there.

We need to update the web site installation manual with the new address. It is
Nauticus, Inc.
8080 Snowville Rd.
Brecksville, Ohio 44141

Pick up rutter or trim plate zincs at your local marine store. (about 2 1/2" in Dia.)
