I'm having trouble deciding where they should go. I've got the up and down placment determined by using the templete. But what about in the X- direction? How far from the engine (or the edge of the boat) should they go? The istructions aren't really clear on that. I have 16' Carolina Skiff, and the pictures don't show any flat bottom boats.

Thanks,
Chris

Poolecw;

We have, for the fith time, revised the instruction to be more informative. Maybe some day we can get it right.

Anyway; The closer to the ouside (within 3 to 4") the more stability you will gain. So if you can keep them far apart.

Let us know how they work for you.

Thanks.

I had to take a technical communications class while in engineering school, so I know how hard it is to simplify things of a technical nature into laymans terms.
