When I went to drill the holes in the transon for the tab bracket,I took a piece of tape and used it on the drill bit so I would not drill to far. Well, the bit went all the way thru anyway.

I took some clear silly-cone and filled the holes and used the marine tape that was supplied. The screws bit realy tight but I worried since the drill bit went all the way thru (all the holes) if this will cause a leak??

You should be fine. I probably wouldn't have used silicone, but just leave it be and if it leaks, re-seal with 3M 5200. You can get some new tape from Nauticus if you need to.

I think if it were me, I would be sure and one day when things aren't too busy, take one out at a time, pump some 5300 into the hole and replace the screw. I'd repair the inside first with marinetex or some filled resin, etc... THe biggest problem is that if it leaks into the wood in the transom there's no gaurantee you're going to notice it... and it won't take long to wet the whole thing. I've done a few transoms that were wet and a huge mess. I know some people enjoy that sort of thing, and I can do a decent job, but honestly I think i would prefer to give myself dental surgery than go through that again...
