Looking for a small utility trailer kit for general around town hauling. Something in the 4x6 or 4x8 flat bed would be perfect. It will get very little use, so an inexpensive (light duty) will do fine. Planned use is hauling fire wood, appliances, bicycles, motor bikes, etc.

I see the 4x8 folding trailer at Harbor Freight for $300, but I don't like the folding option. Looking for something similar size in the same price.

Any links to retailers is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Small Utility trailer kit

I recently built a kayak tlr for a friend using the HF trlr you describe. I put a solid one piece 5/8" plywood deck on it so folding option is gone. It comes w/ stake pockets to fit 2x4 for side racks. Only problem I had was having to run a ground wire from tongue to frame to get the lights to work properly. I think it's a well built little tlr for lite duty work if used within it's load rating.

I had one of those too. You don't have to fold it. Real nice trailer though. When I sold it i got $500.
