Does anyone know what the small pocket in the floor just outside the rear bedroom is for. It measures approx 10"x6" by 6" deep with a lid on it and always has water in it which sometimes spills over onto the floor around it. There doesn't seem to be any inlet or outlet to it when I put my hand in it.

Thanks for the reply but there's no inlet or outlet for a bilge pump so where's the water coming from?
Where the water is comming from would be a real concern for me!!! If the pocket has water, how much water is under it??

Probably never been a pump installed but that would be my guess particularly if it's near the companion way..

Or it's Jack's hidy hole!

The only access seems to be in what used to be the engine bay but I had a new bilge pump fitted there which works well and took any water away from there which wasn't much.

There shouldn't be any water in your bilge unless you have a leak

Do you use the shower much? Wondering if you have a plumbing leak or something. I found the manual for this boat (I used to own one btw) over on the Club Sea Ray website and it mentions a sump pump for the shower. Could be related?
