small mercury outboard

I am looking at a small pull start mercury out board for use as a kicker motor but cannot find year or hp of this motor. ser # is B325324. Any help on size and year thanks.

i tried to look that number up and didnt see anything, are you sure that is the correct number?

that really doesn't tell much. All mercs are "all black". All have a sticker somewhere that says Mercury. Does it really just have a single sticker that simply says Mercury? No stripes or other design? What color(s) on the sticker(s)?

Tiller handle: twist throttle? Where's the shift, etc. etc.

Maybe post some photos?

Are you sure about the 100 lbs? That's pretty heavy for a 2 stroke kicker in the 5-15 hp range. Is it 2 stroke or 4 stroke? Do you think it's larger HP than that?

How old do you think it is? "fairly new" (say 10 years or less), or older?

Are you sure the first digit in the number is B, not 8?

Looks like its a 1988: http://www.maxrules.com/Merc_model_files/15-20.html and a 20 or 25hp.

is 2 cyl., weight is a guess from picking it up.ser # from both tag on motor and small round plug on side of motor is B325324. No other markings on either cover or engine.Is pull start. gears engage by turning handle on tiller.no camera to take pic sorry. but thank you all for the help.
