Small hull repairs

Hi there, I just want to know if this stuff is suitable for filling small screw holes in the hull of my boat (above the waterline) from the old pulley steering system which I have now replaced<br />

Don't know what the stuff is, pic didn't come through but what I did was drilled the holes out, put a 1/4" dowell in with epoxy and then I'm going to gel-coat repair over top of it.<br /><br />Epoxy is my friend.... <br /><br />Cheaper too, when I get done you won't know a hole existed....

Marine Tex is the standard for this type of repair.
