Have 88 Suzy DT6 (00601 818081) set up for use as aux on small sailboat. DT4-6 (and I think up to 18) came with optional lightcoil and rectifier/regular setup for battery charging. While the parts new are a bit pricey for the expected 60W output... Looks like I have a lead on some used/salvaged at a reasonable price. What I don't have is a schematic/wiring diagram for this setup. Haven't been able to cough up the cash for a shop manual yet so if any y'all have a schematic you could share it would be appreciated.
Separate question.... Anyone had any experience / luck using remote controls (throttle/gear) with small hp engines? Again, salvage might be avail and existing tiller/side-shift is a real pita with engine location (lazarette motor-well) Also might try with std morse(etc) control set. Any comments or advice would be useful.
