I have a 2001 BF 75 honda outboard. There is a small 1/4 " black hose connected to the lower unit attached to a male adaptor there. It goes from the motor lower unit all the way up with all the other control cables towards the console. My hose is torn. Is this something serious? Can I just cap the male adapter and not worry about it?
