sludgy gear oil

motor is 2003 9.8 nissan 2-stroke<br /><br />im getting lot of water in my leg oil, oil into my water barrel<br /><br />is their any way i could of frozen the leg on 9.8 nissan. thier is no water drain, other than the rinse screw on the leg. how about other seals that could leak bad anough to make the oil grey after a 2 minute idle.<br /><br />oh, I think my motor is still under warantee

hello<br /> if your running it in a barrel the water will get nasty very rapidly. are you sure its gear oil? I would bet not. the only way to tell is to check the color of the gearcase oil. but many here can tell you if a 2 stroke is run in a barrel it will turn the water nasty very quickly. good luck and keep posting

the oil in the leg is actually turning grey. and its doing thjis verry quickly<br /><br /> think it has bad lower leg seal. I noticed its shooting water out of back of leg where it shouldnt.<br /><br />teh barrel water I kind i figured would get nasty from the unburnt oil in exhaust
