I'm cleaning my carb for a MFS6B, and removed the slow jet (aka pilot jet) from the top:

However, I can't figure out if there's another part inside that I also need to remove. This second pic is the bottom of the carb (inside the float chamber) and the arrow indicates the bottom of the slow jet channel. It has a "ball" in the opening. Is that supposed to be removable and cleaned? If so, how?

FYI I'm soaking the jets (two brass jets from the main jet, plus the one slow jet I've removed thus far) in Berryman's chem dip.

Thanks!

Just my personal opinion, but if you're going to all that work, then drill out the cap over the idle mixture screw and pull that out too before you soak. (just make sure to record the number of turns before you remove it)

Don't ever remove anything with a small ball right in middle, will screw the whole carb...
