I am a complete newbie when it comes to outboards, always had I/O's. On my 2018 Mercury 115CT 4stroke i can feel a slight shake in the motor when running between 2000 and 2500 rpms. It runs smooth as silk at all other rpms. I do have mercury vessel view and it is not showing any faults. Could this just be how they run or is there something i should be looking at

You are hitting a resonance of something. What's the history of any "gotchas" in your operation of the engine/boat....like hitting a submerged this or that? What is the condition of the prop? Can you change trim position and get it to come and go?

I have not hit anything and the prop is in perfect condition. I did change pitch size beginning of this year. Not sure if a new prop would have any effect? Also i have not tried trimming to see if that changes

Tweaking trim would be a great idea. I see you have a toon. Maybe there is some resonance in the engine mounting bracket. Changing the trim could shift the axis of the energy and possibly move the resonance point telling you that's what it is.

You said minor. If you do the above and it moves, personally I wouldn't worry about it. Aluminum work hardens quickly but it takes more than a "little" vibration to induce that.

It you have a tri-toon, could be some cavitation/ventilation caused by it in the slip stream of the center tube. TT change should affect that too.
