Finally ripped the tounge on my last pair of KD comp bindings so I need to buy a replacement. I've got a connelly sidewinder on one of my skis and don't like it as much because of the floppy feel it has. Any recommendations (front boot only)?

Wiley's may be able to sell you a replacement part for the KD if you think they are worth repairing.

Here's a thread on the subject I started on another forum. (my quick answer would probably be buy a Wiley. Parts are always going to be available.)

D3 Leverage is the evolution of the KD Comp. I find the D3s really stiff and hard to get on.

I use the HO animal bindings, but I run full boots front and rear. I like them a lot, but I've heard great things about the Wiley wraps as well. 2nd on Wiley's probably being able to get a new KD for you.

Unfortunately the rest of the binding is pretty bad too. The tounge holes are what ripped out, but the wrap is getting pretty brittle looking. The Wiley looks like it would require lube to get into since its got no laces in the back. The HO Animal looks very similiar to the KD Comp boot - I think I'll order one up if I can't find one locally to look at.

I have a D3 Custom X ski with Leverage bindings. They are very nice, but as stated above, a pain to get on. I have to lube mine up with Dawn to have a prayer of getting my foot in it. If you liked your Kidder equipment, stick with D3, as the company was founded by Denny Kidder and is a continuation of his design philosophy.
