Re: Ski Rope Sinks

I realize this is an old thread - however, in case others are searching on this topic - thought I'd share my "cheap" solution to the sinking tow rope problem. We had the same problem and since we enjoy skiing, kneeboarding in the evening, the rope was really hard to see in the water, at lower light angles.

I just purchased one of those swimming noodles (with the hole in the middle, not solid) for $1.99 and cut off a section about 6-8 inches and slid over the rope, down to the handle. I chose a bright yellow which is easy to see. This works great, keeps the handle extremely visible and works perfectly in the water. Sure beats dropping more dough on a new rope!

Hope this helps
