This is not engine specific, so seems correct sub-forum.
Noticed on checking over drive that the very ‘point of the rear of the Skeg has snapped off / chipped off.
Only talking about 5mm triangle.

I could just file it smooth, and paint.
or is there a filler …. Plastic metal, etc. I could recreate the tip then paint.

My first choice would be to do noting as I have so much to do and little time to get it all done. The better choice for a normal person would be to file it smooth, and paint.

I'll certainly be painting.
Probably just file the notch smooth.

I have used marine poly putty to fix gouges in aluminum props. It is nearly invisible after sanding and painting and holds up pretty well.

I expect it would work on skegs, as long as you don't hit anything.
