I have a 1993 yamaha 650vxr that seems ro be sitting really low in the water. The **** hole doesnt even spray, this could be the reason it seems to fill up with water and get heavy. When I took it out on the water today it drained for about 15 minutes.Could this be an impeller or a bilge problem? There has to be some reason there is so much water in the pwc.

check the drive shaft seal for leaks,, and the cooling hoses,, put the ski in the water with the seat off and look for water coming in the hull,, if you don't see any leaking in,, run the ski with the seat off and see where it is spraying in.

if the boat is at the house, and you cant test on the water, you can -

run it on the hose, and see if there's water leaking out anywhere...

you CAN fill the hull with water, and see where it leaks out, but this method is not recommended, as if you have an electrical box with a faulty sel you'll be subjecting your sparky bits to water... and for god's sake don't fill it up to the intake.... as a matter of fact don't use the 'fill hull' method!!
