Siren

Hello. I have aq 125hp force engine. On start up it is fine then after maybe 2 minutes or so the loud siren comes on and i have to shut the motor down to silence the noise. I have changed the impeller and am trying to figure why the siren still comes on. Can anyone help me Thanks

The motor must be overheating. Are you getting the proper water flow?

Check the thermostat. They go bad and can be stuck closed, causing overheating, or just open too slowly or not enough to fully cool the motor.

Thanks for the reply but where would I find the thermostat in the Force 125hp.

I am not sure for I do have the ears attached and the water is free flowing well.

I would suggest you purchase the Clymers Force Manual and read it to educate yourself. That manual combined with this forum should enable you to fix anything on your Force.
