Single prop or Dual prop??????

I was recently at the marina noticing a bravo3 with a dual prop setup. I have an alpha one and would like to know if there is a larger shaft that can replace the shaft in there to allow a dual prop and is a dual prop really any better?..BTW its a Merc170.
