Re: silverline comoro specs

Howdy weightset! Welcome aboard:

Guess at your Comoro being about 2,000#. Dry weight was about 1,400# on the 17T (tri-hull version that I have) and I guessed at another 600# for the sterndrive and engine. Is yours a V-hull or Tri-hull?

Do you have a manual for your engine? That'll have your capacity ... I'm not sure what your recommended oil is. I've been running higher viscosity oils this past year just to aid the age of the engine ... doesn't much look to be a big help.

Don't worry about a manual for the boat ... I have one and there's no real reason to ever open it  You can get some information on your boat HERE.

Your boat is pretty similar to mine, but missing the rear seating an a little length:

Get a manual for your sterndrive. I have one for my OMC, but that does you no good. I'd guess at 4QTs for capacity. As far as which oil? I think Merc recommends 25w-40 ... but asking which oil to use on this forum is like firing the opening shot in a land war in the middle east :D
