Blaming your offensive line for your loss today........

Maybe you should blame them for you 3-6 Playoff record too. Take it like a man, and stop making excuses. You lost, Pitt desearved to win. "We had protection Problems" hahaha yeah ok.

I think he should have said "their defenses couldn't be stopped." I thought he had more class than to let frustration come oozing out like that.

Manning had no right to point fingers at the O-line. His game was less than stellar. Damn good game to watch though. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Yeah good game....but I would have liked to have seen a little more decisive victory by the Steelers. The right breaks just went their way. But they are still in the running.

I sort of disagree......without that interception reversal which was clearly NOT incomplete, Indy doesnt pull as close.

With or without the worst call in NFL history. It was one of the most decisive victory's I can remember, the Steelers were 10 point under dogs and went to Indy and dominated this game in every area other then the officiating.

Anybody beside myself think that the officials might have had a few quid on the colts?

I counted three blatant wrong calls all against the steelers.

Such things do happen, I think. I remember some very bad calls against the cowboys that cost them games during the days that Jerry Jones was bucking the NFL owners. I find it hard to believe it was all just coincidence.

The officiating in the NFL as a whole is poor. Even with replay they still seem to screw something up just about every game.

Every since the Steelers found themselves in a wild card spot, their playing tatics seem to be a bit dirty.

I grew up between the Bengals and Steelers. If one did crappy, I would go with the other. Being out for the win is one thing, but being out for blood is another.

After the Steelers took out Palmer by the second play with the Bengals, they knew Kitna wouldn't be able to hold it together. Then yesterday watching the game, my wife and I read the lips of the QB of Pittsburg "TAKE OUT THE QUARTERBACK" I can see a fan saying that, but not a player.

Yep, I was hoping for a Colt victory. Pittsburg will not get my support this year. I don't like teams who go after taking people out to force a win. Just aint right.

The ruling is that rolling on the ground does not constitute a "football move". His right knee was still on the ground when his left knee kicked the ball out of his hand.

It was a total team loss. Face it, they played like it was another game. Pittsburgh laid it all out on the field... sometimes literally. They earned the win. Hat's off to Cowar for doing a super psych job getting his team motivated. Question is, can they do it again next week. Awful tough to motivate a team like that 2 weeks in a row.

Question: Will Peyton be another Dan Marino?? Be the quarterback of the decade, with no Super Bowl??

Man that would sucks! I agreed with ya'll that he shouldn't blame all on the O-line. He just didn't call the right play for the tight end to pick up the blitzers. And what with throwing the ball on 3rd and 2 with what 30 some seconds or whatever it was. Coulda give the ball to Edgerin, run an stretch play to the left and get a first down. That play worked all 3 times they ran it. Woulda make the field goal a lots closer. Can you guys tell I'm pretty ticked off or what?

Re: Silly Peyton........

That field goal could've been 15 yards closer and it wasnt going in........

Kagee........rolling may not be a "football move", but He had take almost two full steps before rolling and demonstrated possesion on his way to the ground and as he rolled. There is nothing anyone can tell me that is going to convince me that was incomplete. ESPECIALY!!!! given the original call on the field. There has been a whole lot less called complete even after a review.

Re: Silly Peyton........

SS, I disagree with you on the Steelers playing dirty. They played hard, but not dirty. Taking out Palmer? It was a hard and clean play, and Von Olhofer was obviously distraught over the play. It certainly was not intentional.

And the officiating was absolutely horrible! How can you stop play and not call a penalty? You that watched know the play. If Pittsburgh's offensive line jumped, then it was illegal motion, if they did not, and the Colts made contact, then it was off-sides. If they did not make contact, got back in time, and the Steelers stood up and pointed, then again, it was illegal proceedure. They needed to mark 5 yards off in one direction or the other.

And Randall El was mugged on that no-call pass interference! And of course, the interception that wasn't.

Going into the RCA Dome with the "12th Man" there, plus the 13th in the officiating crew, you have to hand it to Pittsburgh. They out played and out coached the Colts.

Now, can they get up for their A+ game next week? Well, they have done it, what 5 games in a row. So what is another 2? Steelers, SuperBowl XL champs (yea, that is Xtra-Large for Bettis)!

Did they have any timeouts left???? I don't think they did, i am not sure........IF they didnt have any, a run on 3rd and 2 is about the DUMBEST call possible. If you dont make it, you can;t call timeout and you cant spike the ball to stop the clock.......no way the FG unit is getting on and set with less than 20 some seconds on the clock after a running play.
