SIGPIC Problems

I am having problems with my signature I recently became active again and noted the upgrade to the site. I tried to correct my avatar and signature photo and can't get the signature photo to show on the recent post's If I check my old post's 2011-2012 everything is fine. In the recent post's all I get is sigpic. I have tried the upload from my local folders and photobucket, same problem. Did a search on Iboats forum for sigpic and read the replies and tried the suggestions, but no help. What did I miss??

I'm able to see two boats in your sig pic. Make sure in settings you have selected the ability to view all content. Including sig pics and avatars.

I saw the photo when I posted this. I went back and looked at some of my recent post and no photo but the dreaded sigpic was still there .. I rechecked my 2011 2012 post and the photo show's OK. Would the previous recent posts to this one not show the photo? Or will overnight server updates correct the problem? The photo I used in 2011-2012 was a different one but now, the correct one is showing. ????
I worked in IT support until I retired 10 years ago and I know that debugging a major upgrade as Iboats has gone through takes time and may never get all of the gremlins out. Now I know how the user's felt when I showed up and the problem was gone.

My sig pics are also sporadic, missing maybe 5 to 10% of the time. Sometimes they show at other points it just says sigpic.

64, I had the same -problem and went to Photobucket. No problems since.....

I think this is happening cause you're using the SIGPIC bbcode, try copying the image url and paste it between like this

[ IMG]http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/ae331/68greengoat/flagtoo.jpg[/IMG ]

Remove the spaces from the IMG code

Thanks for the reply, it has been working ok since I started this post, go figure! I did figure that I needed to set the cursor position first for the location of the photo. then set the IMG code. I was trying to move the photo afterwards and I think that caused the problem. Again thanks for the quick come back and thanks the the other form members that responded. Keep up the good work!!
