Sierra 18-7876 oil filter

So, a guy gave me a case of sierra 18-7876.

trying to cross reference only leads to other filters not engines.

it sure looks like and fits GM 4 and 8 cyl.

are these in fact gm application filters?

I dont use Sierra filter products but I would like to know what engine this is for.

Yes, V8 and 4 cylinder.
