I have 1999 volvo penta,5.0 that the exhaust shutters have burnt out. I cannot find any replacements as volvo has stopped making them I am told,any suggestions,thanks,Don
Could be you just have too many people on the back of the boat when you have the engine shut off. 3 or 4 people on the back of the boat while a skier climbs in from the back will put the risers lower than the water line. Even flappers would cure that problem. Riser extensions would.
