shrink wrap/ heat gun

I am thinking about shrink wraping my boat. Does anyone know if a electric heat gun would work. The propane ones are very expensive. I do have a turbo torch if anyone knows of a adapter. My boat is a Sea Ray 268 Im told a custom canvas is to heavy

On a boat that size...you'll be heating until next March before you're done.
