Shrimping in Alaskan Waters

Any PacNorWest folk do any shrimping in SE-AK? My wife wants to buy some pots, but we know zilch about it, such as how much line (100', 300' ?), generic locations data such as bottom countour?, rocky?, kelp-no kelp? Best depth to fish them?
