I am moving back East.From Arizona,and I have learned a lot of things,bimini twist,San Diego knot,big fish things.I need to know how to catch flounder,and striped bass on the Atlantic coast.Give me some details.Thanks Bruce

You catch them by drifting with the bait dragging the bottom. Therefore you want torpedo or tear drop sinkers and enough weight to hold it down (factored by depth and current). Although they'll take lures, bait is best. Live baby spot the deadliest, then strips of squid plus a minnow (used to, you used flounder belly). You need clear water so the top of the tide is the best time to go, and fishing the correct tide is crucial. I say, going on the wrong tide is like going to the gym at 4:00 o'clock to see an 8:00 o'clock basketball game.

Watch your size limits.
