i have located an internal wire harness on the shad connection for my 1971 mercury outboard 650 w/ thunderbolt ignition serial # 3073788. i was told the part number for this was 52771A2. the part i found is made by CDI electronics and it says it replaces 52771, im assuming this part will work but i am looking for a little confirmation.<br /><br />thanks again,<br />boaty boat<br /><br />this page has already saved me soo much money and probably a few headaches, i can't thank you enough!

The CDI number I find is 414-2770. Call them at 256-772-3829 and ask them, or try WWW.rapair.com.
