I have a brass/bronze prop on my recent purchase. Is there any advantage/disadvantage in using a brass/bronze 3 blade prop on 1982 Volvo-Penta 270 only in fresh water? Would an aluminum prop reduce the wear on the outboard? The motor is a Volvo-Pents Aq125a of the same year.
