Hi,

I have Trim tabs from Boat Leveler. A few people in previous posts recommended I relocate my Trim tabs further away from my drive. I noticed if I do this there is a lot of work involved from re-fiberglassing all the screw wholes, hoses, etc.
Will I get enough performance results or stability to make it worthwhile?? What do you recommed? What advantages/disadvantages will I get? You can check how my trim tabs are presently placed at:
http://www.justgowireless.com/boat/

Thanks

Yes it would help high speed stability.
Personally; No I wouldn't go through the hassle of reinstalling them over again. They will trim the boat off where they are, you only sacrafice some gained stability by moving them out board.

Looking at the pictures, I would recommend moving your bow stay (WHERE THE TRAILERS WINCH IS ATTACHED) back about six inches so the transom of your boat is even with the rugs on your trailer.

mcu if you want to increase the effectiveness of one tab over the other you could rivet on an extension of of a few inches.
