My 87 DT85 is having cooling problems as some of you are allready aware<br />there is a new twist<br />I pulled the powerhead to check gaskets <br />when I pulled the exhaust cover I noticed that<br />#2 piston & cylinder are scuffed <br />compression before I dismantled was 155,145,142<br />should it be rebuilt now or when it starts running poorly<br />thanks in advance for your comments :confused:

how mmtch should i expect to fork over to have it rebuilt?

AT the moment there is only 10PSI difference, I really wouldn't rebuild it yet. Resolve your other problems first. My motor has about 120PSI on all cylinders and still runs fine. if you have a cooling problem again you could undo all your rebuild.<br />Cheers sirlespat<br />will email part manual today have been "404"
