I have a Humminbird Platinum 120 fishfinder that is about 20 years old. I used it in freshwater for most of its life and it served well. I am now using it in salt water [under 100'] with a in the hull transducer mount. Q What would I gain with a fishfinder with more up to date technology?
Ed

I liked Humm back in the days of the neon bulb flasher. Was away from boating for 10 yrs so didn't follow the technology.

Just upgraded my recently purchased boat. Cabela's has a 4 1/2 inch screen unit with all the goodies for $99. Bought 2; one for the trolling motor and one for the boat. Think they will do.

Mark
