Hello all, my first post, so please be gentle..
I came across a 1974 Glasspar Cutlass 190 yesterday, my 14.5 Princcraft with 9.9 hp is getting too small for me and my family for fishing and cruising .
This guy is selling this Glasspar Cutlass for $3k Canadian, boat is '74, Johnson 115hp engine is 76 and tilt trailer is '78
The details are below.... I am not a real boat enthusiast(yet) but i thought this would be nice to take the family out couple times a month on the lake.
What do you guys think?
--------------------------------
The boat:
Brand new deck made from coated marine plywood.
New seat and cushion upholstery all around done in 2014.
All wiring was just redone, the headlight, taillight, starboard/port light, horn, bilge pump, and dash lights work perfectly.
Inboard fuel tank was rusted trough, so it was replaced by 2 plastic tanks, one is newer, the other one is older.
Comes with ladder, 3 life jackets, anchor and rope, 07/2015 large marine battery 29DC 845 cranking amps cost $200, bilge pump, and waterproof flashlight.
It has 2 rod holders installed and the mounting holes for a down rigger.
It is old so it has some scratches here and there.
No leaks, everything works well.
The Johnson 115HP:
Comes with original parts catalog, and service manual(most are lost at this age).
Completely rebuilt in 2014. New crankcase gaskets, cylinder, rings, ext. it has exactly 120 PSI compression in all 4 cylinders.
All new 4 coils, timing coils and ring, powerpack, plug wires, and spark plugs.
Carburetor and fuel pump rebuilt in 2015.
lower gear oil changed in June 2015.
Runs great on 50:1 mix.
Only 8 hours since rebuild, still in the break in period!
Sears 3.5HP kicker:
Runs great.
Comes with lock and chain.
Tilt bed trailer.
All new wiring and lights.
New winch strap.
Bearings greased in 2014.
New tires in 2014.
Comes with lock and all straps.
