Should I add kicker engine?

I have a 1988 Lund Tyee 16' with a 90 HP V4 Johnson outboard. I have a 9.9 Johnson of the same vintage I could mount as a kicker. I wonder if I have the room and also wonder if it would work well as a trolling motor. Any thoughts from more experienced fishermen would be appreciated.

I' be inclined to just use the 90 for trolling if you can, or add an electric. The 9.9 seems like a lot of weight and tight fit. Certainly wouldn't be worth buying a motor but since you have it, maybe so. Just be sure to run it often.

What kind of fishing are you doing? If you fish crankbaits, or head into tighter spaces/skinny water/wind, then the kicker can be handy. Give 'er a try since you got it, though it may be tight as HC suggested.
