as my son and i were trying to test fire our 4cyl 650 engine, i dropped my plug socket from my hand and as i grabbed for it, it fell on switch box input side , it arched the pos. neg. for a split second . the key was in the on position.
would this fry the box ?
i have a spare box from a 6 cyl. (same part# ) but it has a strange bulge / crack from the inside . i covered it with liquid tape to keep any water out if i use it.
what would cause this crack ?
