Shoreline trailer?

I have a 1988 Renken 19' bowrider. The trailer it's sitting on is listed on the title and registration as a shorlandr, but the trailer has Shoreline lettered on it. I believe the trailer originally came with the boat because they both have the same shade of faded blue pin striping.
I am thinking the trailer is a Shoreline, but cannot find a VIN number anywhere on it.
Does anyone know if shoreline is still in business, where my VIN number would be, and if Renken used either or both or these trailers in 1988?
Any helps would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Re: Shoreline trailer?

If your trailer has lettering on it (alot of galvanized trailers don't) It will be on the tounge (normally near the coupling) and/or on the axel. Look for a place that looks like a decal might have come off at (alot of trailer manufactures use decals insted of stamping the #'s in the metal).
